Researcher Perspective
In InterWET, the Researcher Perspective gives a two dimensional view
or process level view of the different water resource components.
For a researcher of water processes, like a university scientist, the purpose of studying each water resource component is to determine which factors affect each component. Their studies determine how varying levels of each factor would change the water resource component level. The results of their research would be a better understanding of what causes these levels to change.
InterWET uses special calculators to let the learner discover the relationships between the factors and each water resource component. Each calculator is based on past research for that component. The web page for each component contains a brief lesson that details the use of the calculator and guides the learner through different scenarios. The end of each lesson highlights the relationships between the factors and the water resource component.
